Refund policy

SHUMPHY India — Returns & Exchange Policy Effective Date: January 1, 2025 | Last Updated: January 1, 2026

At SHUMPHY India, we want you to love every piece you receive. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, we offer a transparent and hassle-free returns and exchange process.

1. Return Eligibility To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • Item returned within 7 days of delivery date
  • Item is unworn and unwashed
  • All original tags are attached
  • Item is in original, undamaged packaging
  • Item is free of perfume, stains, or any odours
  • Proof of purchase (order number) is provided

Items that do not meet all the above conditions will not be accepted and will be shipped back at the customer's expense.

2. Non-Returnable Items The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Items purchased during clearance, end-of-season sale, or flash sale events
  • Items marked as "Final Sale" at the time of purchase
  • Free gifts or promotional items
  • Items returned after 7 days of delivery
  • Items that have been worn, washed, or altered
  • Items damaged due to customer misuse or improper care

3. How to Initiate a Return Step 1: Email info@shumphy.com with subject: RETURN — Order #[Your Order Number] Step 2: Include your order number, item name, reason for return, and clear photos of the item Step 3: Our team will respond within 2 business days with return instructions Step 4: Pack the item securely in original packaging and ship to the provided address Step 5: Share the return tracking number with us via email Step 6: Refund will be processed within 5–7 business days of receiving the returned item

Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect item sent by SHUMPHY India.

4. Refund Process

  • Credit/Debit Card, UPI, Net Banking: Refund within 5–7 business days
  • Razorpay/Wallet payments: Refund within 3–5 business days
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) orders: Refund via bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS) within 7–10 business days
  • Store Credit: Available immediately upon approval, valid for 12 months

Original shipping charges (₹99) are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

5. Exchange Policy Exchanges are available for a different size only, subject to stock availability.

How to request an exchange:

  • Email info@shumphy.com with subject: EXCHANGE — Order #[Your Order Number]
  • Mention the current size and the size you require
  • Our team will confirm stock availability within 2 business days
  • Ship your item back using the same return process
  • Exchanged item will be dispatched within 2–3 business days of receiving your return

Exchange conditions:

  • Exchanges are for size changes only (same product, same colour)
  • Only one exchange per order is permitted
  • Exchanged items cannot be returned
  • Customer bears return shipping cost

6. Defective or Incorrect Items If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@shumphy.com with your order number, clear photos of the issue, and a description. We will arrange a free replacement or full refund and cover all return shipping costs.

7. Order Cancellation

  • Cancellations must be requested within 2 hours of placing the order
  • Email info@shumphy.com with subject: CANCEL — Order #[Your Order Number]
  • Once an order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled — the returns process must be followed
  • Prepaid cancellations are refunded to the original payment method within 3–5 business days
  • COD cancellations are confirmed via email with no charge
